Mmmmm......Thinset.......

It's creamy, not unlike cream cheese actually, but I don't recommend eating it.

Anyway, I spent 5 hours last night getting the plumbing finished for the tub. Had a bit of an issue with leaks on the threaded fittings (not a fan of Price Pfister). Just didn't seem to be able to get the right amount of teflon tape on them, or tight enough or some combination of the two. But eventually I succeeded.

With all the plumbing in, and not leaking, the rest of the conrete board went up and shortly thereafter the tile. We're going for the classic, early 20th century look in the bathroom to match the age of the house. The glass tile is the nod to the modern and it just makes it sparkle a little bit more. Sparkly is good especially with the light from the skylight. Now for the other 2 walls around the tub and I can grout. I had hoped to get the entire tub finished before the wife got back from her work trip, but she'll settle for 1/3 done.
