The bedroom has power

I finally ran power, at least for the lights, to the downstairs bedroom/office. It's a smaller room (9x14) with a lot of can lights (6 in this case). But I didn't want it to be dark, and honestly was worried it might be too bright. Well, with the lights put in and dimmer switch installed I am happy to say it's just right. At least I seem to have located the lights to evenly fill. Additionally, the brick wall, now fully stripped, looks great with the lighting scheme. Just need to get the outlets hot and string the cat5 and cable and telephone. Another couple weeks or so and I might be putting up drywall.

Stripper update

That might skew the search results a little. From the previous post I was trying to find a way to strip the paint off the bricks in the bedroom. After a good deal of research and a fortuitous click I found this product called Peel Away. It looked like just the stuff that I was interested in trying. Yesterday I picked up a quart of Peel Away 6 and some of the stripper paper from Lowes and went to town covering a section of the brick. 24 hours later this is the result. I need some more of the stripper to finish the job, but I'm happy with the result so far. The wall just has a warm, tactile sense to it where before it was just non-descript.
